Jane Goodall, is one of the world’s most important female scientists. She is renowned for her decades-long studies of chimpanzees and their behavior in the wild.

In 1960, Goodall traveled to Tanzania where she began her groundbreaking research on chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park.
